Time Apart

You might have noticed that the Lizard and I haven't been on speaking terms for a while. We haven't spoken for almost three months, in fact! Maybe the time apart will do us good.

I just can't get past the feeling that the Lizard is secretly wasting my time. I'm too old to be wasting time (at least that's what I think).

I don't yet know if we'll ever reconcile--the Lizard and I. You might have to meet me someplace else, someplace less . . . restrictive, someplace with more of a purpose.
